Last month, Google introduced two new subscriptions for its AI services called AI Pro and AI Ultra. The former was released globally while the latter was limited to US users, at least, up until recently as the tech giant has quietly made the Ultra tier available in 70 countries, including Malaysia.
The AI Ultra plan costs a whopping RM1,229.90/month but for the first three months, you can get it at half-off for RM614.90/month. Through the Gemini app, the Ultra tier will offer access to the 2.5 Pro Deep Think model, which is coming soon.
Moreover, you get access to Flow, its AI filmmaking tool, and Veo 2-powered Whisk tool for image-to-video creation. The subscription comes with 12,500 monthly AI credits across Flow and Whisk, as well as highest limits for the NotebookLM feature.
Across the regular Google app suite, you can use Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Vids, and more. The plan also comes with 30TB of cloud storage for Photos, Drive, and Gmail. Notably though, the company seems to have removed the included YouTube Premium plan in Malaysia, which was previously advertised for the Ultra tier.

If you want something more affordable, there is the AI Pro plan that costs RM97.99/month. It comes with access to the 2.5 and 2.5 Pro Deep Research models along with NotebookLM and 1,000 monthly credits for Whisk and Flow. Similarly, it includes Gemini integration in Google apps, but only 2TB of storage.
