Nothing has announced the launch date for its upcoming Phone (3), and it is closer than previously anticipated. In an X post, the company revealed that it is unveiling the Nothing Phone (3) on 1 July 2025 at 6PM BST. In Malaysia time, that’s 2 July 2025 at 1AM. That said, local availability remains unclear as there currently is no established launch pattern.
The X post also included a teaser that may indicate that the phone will come with a dot-matrix display. Given that the company stated in a previous post that it “killed the Glyph Interface”, it is likely that the dot-matrix display will be the Glyph’s replacement. While some may mourn the loss of the brand’s signature feature, its successor could allow for more customisation.
However, a lot is still not known about the device. The company has been putting up teasers ahead of the launch, but has kept most details on its most ambitious smartphone under wraps, including the chipset. There has been some speculation on what the Phone (3) could be packing under the hood, with one leakster stating that the phone will run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, although another leakster disputed this claim.
It is also unclear whether the company’s over-ear headphones will be announced alongside the Phone (3). A previous leak revealing the price of the phone also mentioned that the headphones will be available in September.
