ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia is releasing new additions to its Zephyrus and Strix lineups, which come equipped with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards. While some of these laptops will be available starting 23 May 2025, others can only be purchased at the end of the month.
To start off, the 2025 versions of the Zephyrus family include the G16 and the G14, which are priced at RM10,999 and RM11,499 respectively. Both laptops come with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. The G16 sports a 16-inch 2560×1600 Nebula OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate. It is packed with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H and an RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7 GPU. Meanwhile, the Zephyrus G14 features a 14-inch 2,880 x 1,800 Nebula OLED 120Hz display and runs on an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU, along with a RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GDDR7 GPU.
Next, we have this year’s refresh of the Strix lineup, starting with the G18. It comes with an 18-inch 2,560 x 1,600 Nebula IPS 240Hz display, 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. It comes in two variants, namely one equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GDDR7, which is priced at RM11,999. The other is available for RM10,499 and packs an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX and RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7.
The 2025 Strix G16 AMD series includes 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. There are three different options, starting with a version with a 16-inch 2,560 x 1,600 Nebula IPS display with a 240Hz refresh rate. This variant is equipped with a Ryzen 9 9955HX3D CPU and an RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GDDR7 GPU, and is priced at RM11,999. Meanwhile, the other two feature a 16-inch 1,920 x 1,200 IPS 165Hz display, with your choice of a Ryzen 9 8940HX CPU and RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GDDR7 GPU for RM8,999, or a Ryzen 9 9955HX3D CPU and RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 GPU for RM8,499.
Finally, the Intel version of the G16 features a 16-inch 2,560 x 1,600 Nebula IPS 240Hz display, 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. It is equipped with a Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, and graphics card options include the RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GDDR7 for RM11,499, the RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7 for RM 9,999, and the RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 for RM 9,499.
