Back in November, iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 10 series, a lineup of mid-range smartphones. At the time, the phones were only released in China, but now the company has confirmed that it is releasing the Neo 10 to the Malaysian market.
The model we are getting differs slightly from the Neo 10 released in China, as iQOO has revealed that the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. According to the company, this is the first gaming smartphone in Malaysia to feature this chipset. Meanwhile, the Chinese version is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

iQOO is keeping other details about the phone under wraps for now, only stating that the device features advanced cooling systems, a vivid display with a high refresh rate, and a long battery life. But assuming the only difference between this model and the variant released for the Chinese market is the chipset, we can probably expect the rest of the specifications to match.
To compare, the Chinese model features a 6.78-inch 2,800 ×1,260 LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and peak global brightness of 1,800 nits and peak HDR brightness of 4,500 nits. The device is powered by a 6,100mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging and reverse charging. For cameras, it has a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide combo on the rear, and a 16MP selfie shooter.

The company did not mention a specific release date for the phone, but promised that the official launch is “right around the corner”. Given that the phone has been in the SIRIM database since last month, it likely won’t be a long wait until the release. In the meantime, the company suggests keeping an eye on its official website for more news.
