Touch n Go is reminding its customers to be wary of scammers pretending to be representatives of the company. In a recent notice issued via Touch n Go’s Facebook page, it stressed that no agent or individual has ever been appointed to collect personal information or identification documents from customers.
Additionally, the company emphasised that it will not use personal phone numbers to contact its customers. Any correspondence between the company and its customers is done through the official line at 03-2714 8888, so calls from any other number claiming to be with the company are not to be trusted.

The notice also tells customers to “please hang up immediately” should they receive a fraudulent call claiming to be its representatives, and that they should not share any of their personal details. Furthermore, any inquiries or reports on suspicious behaviour should be directed to the company’s official customer service channels.
This is not the first instance of fraudulent actors claiming to be employed by Touch n Go. In 2023, scammers posed as employees offering a “card upgrade” deal to customers, prompting the company to release a statement to explain that there are no such offers, reminding the public to remain vigilant.
