Samsung is expected to release its Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 in July during the company’s Unpacked event. Both phones have been the subject of different rumours and supposed leaks, ranging from their cameras to the alleged all-screen cover. Now, new claims have surfaced regarding the specs of both devices.
To start off, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is rumoured to be thinner compared to the Z Fold6. While a previous leak reported that the Samsung phone will be 4.5mm unfolded, TechManiac now states that the device will be 8.2mm when folded, as per machine translations of the report. To compare, its predecessor was 5.6mm unfolded and 12.1mm folded.
The site also alleges that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will sport a triple camera setup at its back. This consists of a 200MP main camera, a 10MP sensor with 3x telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle third camera. It is also reported that the phone may house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and be priced EUR100 (~RM496) more than its predecessor.
As for the Galaxy Z Flip7, the report claims that it may come with a 4-inch cover display that encompasses its entire front when folded. It will also be thinner than the Z Flip6, though no dimensions were specified. Inside, it could also pack a larger 4,300mAh battery, and have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. As for its cameras, it may house the same camera setup as its predecessor, which is a 50MP + 12MP. It should be noted that none of this information came from Samsung directly, so take it with a pinch of salt.
