Gaming peripheral brand Razer does have products made for productivity in mind under its Pro line, though it’s hard to tell the difference beyond aesthetics. Now, the company has extended the Pro Click mouse lineage with a V2, with the new model also getting a Vertical Edition, the latter of which I can’t quite imagine being used for gaming.
Starting with the regular Razer Pro Click V2, the company looks to have given up on the white and grey look and gone back to the usual aggressive black paint. It keeps the slight ergonomic tilt, but the number of buttons available has nearly doubled, going from five to nine, though it’s not exactly clear where the last three buttons are. It now also gets an RGB underglow, and battery life is rated at 3.5 months.
Moving on to the first vertical Razer mouse, its official product page says that it has one less button than the base V2. But the larger size likely also means a larger battery, as this one has a claimed battery life of six months. This also gets an RGB underglow, which makes for a jarring mesh of productivity and gamer aesthetic.

At any rate, the Razer Pro Click V2 is priced locally at RM489, while its Vertical Edition costs RM100 more. Both have already been listed on the brand’s own online store, linked below, which you can also visit to find out more about each of them.
