The Malaysian arm of vivo has announced two variants of the V50 Lite, one with 4G connectivity, and another with 5G. More recently, the company announced that the phone will be making its way to the Malaysian market. Specifically, it’s to be the 5G model that is about to be available.
Both versions of the vivo V50 Lite comes with a 6.77-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W charging. Considering we’re getting the 5G model, we’ll be looking at the one with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, as well as a 50MP main + 8MP wide-angle camera combo at the back, with the 32MP shooter in front.

That being said, the two variants of the vivo V50 Lite have a lot in common anyway, with the only difference on the 4G model is that it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 instead of the Dimensity chipset. The camera is a notable change that wouldn’t be visible from the outside, as the wide-angle camera is replaced with a depth sensor.
Back on task though, the 5G model of the vivo V50 Lite has been in our SIRIM database for awhile, and we’ve also been given the opportunity to unbox the phone ahead of its local launch. But with all that being said, the most important details, such as when it will actually be available, and at what price, remains under wraps.
