Samsung‘s latest Odyssey gaming monitor lineup has finally arrived in Malaysia. This set of monitors include the Odyssey 3D G90XF, the G8 G81SF, and the G9 G91F.
To recap, the Odyssey 3D G90XF is a 27-inch 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) monitor featuring an IPS panel with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1ms. This flat screen monitor promises a glasses-free 3D viewing experience, with a dedicated 3D Effect Controller to allow the user to customise the intensity and depth of field according to their preferences. For ports, the 3D comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one Display Port 1.4, two USB Hub 3.1 Gen1, and a USB-B port.
Meanwhile, the G8 G81SF comes in 27-inch and 32-inch variants, and features a 4K (3,840 x 2,160) UHD OLED panel. Additionally, it offers a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time, as well as advanced burn-in prevention, and smart features such as Multi Control and Smart TV apps. As for ports, it sports two HDMI 2.1 ports, one Display Port 1.4, one USB-B port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, and a headphone jack.
Finally, the Odyssey G9 G91F features a 49-inch VA panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The curved display offers a 32:9 aspect ratio and Dual QHD (5,120 x 1,440) resolution. It also has a colour gamut of 92%. Like the G8, it comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one Display Port 1.4, one USB-B port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, as well as a headphone jack.
The arrival of the monitors also comes with a launch promotion lasting until 30 April 2025. Customers who purchase any of the Odyssey monitors are entitled to rebates of up to RM500, which is dependent on the model being purchased. The full list is as follows:
