Peripheral brand Corsair has announced a new gaming headset for the local market. It’s called the Void Wireless V2, and the company says that it is compatible with just about any gaming platform that you can think of.
As a whole, the Corsair Void Wireless V2 has just about everything that you’d expect a gaming headset to pack. It features 50mm neodymium drivers, something that you don’t see as often within this price range, and it is paired with Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio. Another element of the Corsair Void Wireless V2 which bucks the trend of gaming headsets is the use of breathable microfibre fabric over its memory foam ear cushions.

Then there’s the omnidirectional mic, which folds away upwards, which the company says is paired with NVIDIA Broadcast tech. Wireless connectivity options include a 2.4GHz wireless via a dongle, and the more conventional Bluetooth. No wired options here though. Battery life is rated at 70 hours, with a 15-minute charge claimed to provide six hours of use.
The Corsair Void Wireless V2 will be priced locally at RM589, and will come in carbon and white colourways. The press release sent mentions that it “will launch soon in the Corsair worldwide network of authorised online retailers and distributors”, but a rep told us that there’s “no confirmed date as of yet” for when it’s happening. In the meantime though, you can read more about it by heading to its product page, linked here.
