The ability to make custom stickers on WhatsApp isn’t something new – web, iOS and Android users received an in-app sticker editing tool last year to generate their own personalised ones. However, locating and sharing them could occasionally be a hassle, especially if you have many of them. As a way to combat this, the Meta-owned company is launching a new feature for sticker packs.
With the new feature, WhatsApp users can create their stickers and organise them into several folders. When it comes to sharing them, the stickers can be sent as an entire pack, rather than just individually. This will help reduce the amount of time it takes to find the stickers and share them. All of this can also be done within the app itself
Speaking to 9to5Mac, a representative from WhatsApp stated that the stickers will be able to make a user’s chats more fun and personal. “Earlier this year we announced sticker pack sharing, so now you can create and share your very own sticker packs with your friends and family in-chat”.
In case you missed it, WhatsApp has also recently released a roundup of new features that rolled out to its chats, calls, and Channels. For example, you can now see how many people in a chat are currently online, and video calls have apparently been made smoother. To top it off, Channel admins can now record 60-second videos and share them with followers.
