Acer today has launched its new Swift 16 AI laptop for the Malaysian market. Highlights include an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, long battery life, and a variety of AI-powered functionalities – all packed in a premium sleek aluminium design.
As implied by its name, this Acer Swift model offers a 16-inch display with an OLED panel and WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800 pixel) resolution, promising vibrant colours and sharp details. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, DTS X: Ultra Audio, a built-in QHD IR Webcam with a privacy shutter, two USB-C ports with DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 4 and direct charging support, two USB-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 with HDCP support, as well as a headphone jack.
Under its hood is the aforementioned Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processor with Intel Arc graphics 140V for delivering optimum performance, as well as a battery that’s said to offer over 20 hours of usage. Also onboard is 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB storage via Gen4 PCIe SSD.
Then, of course, there’s the Swift 16’s onboard AI capabilities. Included is Acer PurifiedVoice that can automatically remove background noise, the Acer PurifiedView feature for the webcam that can blur the user’s background, Acer User Sensing 2.0 security tools, Smart Reminder notifications that reminds you to take breaks in between, and finally, the Multi Screen Assistance helps detects head movements and automatically move the cursor following your gaze.
The Acer Swift 16 AI is available immediately for RM5,699 at the Acer eStore, official store on Shopee, as well as authorised resellers nationwide. Customers who purchase the laptop before 23 April 2025 will receive a 256GB SanDisk DualDrive worth RM199 while stocks last.
