The camera setup for the Google Pixel 10 series has been leaked, according to Android Authority. Citing internal documents shared by a company insider, these show a camera system overhaul for the Pixel 10, retained cameras for the 10 Pro and Pro XL, corroborating the prior leak. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also getting its own minor upgrade
The Google Pixel 10 is reported to come equipped with a telephoto camera, which has an 11MP, 1/3-inch Samsung 3J1 sensor, smaller than the sensors found in the Pro models. The main and ultrawide cameras will also feature smaller sensors, with the main camera sporting a 50MP, 1/1.95-inch Samsung GN8 sensor. The ultrawide unit, on the other hand, will have a 13MP, 1/3 .1-inch Sony IMX712 sensor.
In regards to the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, it gets an upgrade that is minor in comparison to the Pixel 10. According to Android Authority, it will feature a different main camera from the previous 9 Pro Fold, using a 50MP, 1/1.95-inch Samsung GN8 found in the Pixel 9a for its primary camera sensor instead.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL is said to retain the same camera specs as its predecessors. This could mean that both phones would sport a 50MP, 1/1.31-inch Samsung GNV sensor in its main camera, with a 48MP, ½.55-inch Sony IMX858 telephoto, ultrawide and front camera setup. While the leak is claimed to have been sourced from internal Google documents, the information was not shared by Google directly, so it is best to take them with a large grain of salt.
