Apple has rolled out its iOS 18.4, and within it the expansion of Apple Intelligence to new regions such as the European Union and India. Alongside the mobile OS, the company is also seeding iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, watchOS 11.4 and visionOS 2.4. With these, Apple Intelligence features have now been made accessible to the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 series, along with iPads and Macs that use the M1 chipset or newer.

Supported languages have also increased to include French (France and Canada), Simplified Chinese, and localised English (India and Singapore), to name a few. The iOS and iPadOS 16.7.11, and iOS and iPadOS 15.8.4 have also been released to older devices unable to run iOS 18.

Users with the iOS 18.4 update will also be able to use Priority Notifications, which is a feature that uses AI to list notifications in order of its priority in a separate tab. Other updates include a new Sketch style for Image Playground for content creation, and Visual Intelligence being brought to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.

As mentioned, Apple’s Vision Pro is also being updated within the visionOS 2.4 to include an initial set of Apple Intelligence features. This includes Writing Tools, Image Playground, Genmoji, and Smart Reply, which will only be available in US English as of now. A dedicated iOS app has also been included to provide Vision Pro owners with useful tips, new spatial content, and the ability to download apps and content remotely.

Furthermore, Apple Watch users should note that the watchOS 11.4 update has brought a new “Break Through Silent Mode” option, that enables sound and haptics to function even when the device is in silent mode. Matter support has also been included, allowing Watch users to control Matter smart home devices like robot vacuums.
