Gaming chair maker Secretlab has done tie-ins with popular media franchises, and so it’s probably no surprise that it would at some point be the turn of Mobile Suit Gundam. The collection involves the TITAN Evo chair, the SKINS Lite covers, and the MAGNUS Pro desk. Though as the many other tie-ins involving the science fiction mecha franchise, this revolves entities from the very first series, primarily the eponymous Gundam of the Earth Federation Space Force and two Zaku II variants of the Principality of Zeon.
Starting off with the Secretlab TITAN Evo chairs, these naturally come in two variants. One comes in the Gundam’s colours of white and blue with yellow accents, as well as the EFSF’s emblem. The other gets the Zeon emblem, but is primarily coloured red and black to go with Char’s custom Zaku II, complete with the mono-eye in front.
Then there’s the Secretlab SKINS Lite, which is for those who already own a TITAN Evo, but want in on the Gundam aesthetic. The EFSF flavour of the skin is mostly the same with the chair itself, but the Zeon skin now comes in green, representing the mass-produced Zaku II rather than the Red Comet’s commander custom unit.
Finally, we come to the Secretlab MAGNUS Pro and its accessories, but for the desk itself there’s only one special edition model, coming in Pure White. Similarly, there’s only one Gundam Edition MAGPAD, but since it comes in a rotatable design featuring both the Gundam and the red custom Zaku II, you can simply flip it around to suit whatever mood you’re in at the moment. The accessory that comes with a choice is the Cable Management Bundle, with one sporting the Gundam’s white and the other in the red of Char’s Zaku II.
Currently, none of the items in the Mobile Suit Gundam Collection are listed as being available locally. But for what it’s worth, our neighbour down south has access to them all, with the Secretlab TITAN Evo Gundam Edition being priced at SG$769 (~RM2,551). The SKINs Lite sleeves are priced at SG$129 (~RM428). Moving on to the MAGNUS Pro, the Gundam Edition model costs SG$984 (~RM3,264), while its MAGPAD Desk Mat and Cable Management Bundle cost SG$139 (~RM461) and SG$69 (~RM229) respectively.
