Nothing has begun revealing details about its upcoming Nothing Phone (3a) series, set to launch on 4 March at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2025. A recent vlog entry from the company has showcased the design of the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, highlighting key design choices, construction materials, and new features.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is positioned as a mid-range device powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. A major upgrade in this model is its flagship-level camera system, which includes a 50MP wide sensor, a 50MP periscope sensor offering 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The addition of a periscope zoom lens marks a significant enhancement for the series.

Design-wise, the Phone (3a) Pro continues the evolution of Nothing’s signature aesthetic. It’s also worth noting that the officially revealed device matches up to the leaks that were shared by different sources prior to this.

For the first time in the (a) series, the device features a glass back panel, moving away from the plastic construction of previous models. The frame is constructed from aluminum, contributing to a more premium feel. Nothing has also redesigned the rear panel’s faux components, introducing new patterns and textures under the glass.

Another notable change is the introduction of additional physical buttons, including a dedicated camera button. All of which have a unique finish to distinguish them from traditional ones. The Glyph interface has been reworked while maintaining its three-segment design, now allowing for more control over its functionalities.

Alongside the Phone (3a) Pro, Nothing will also launch the standard Phone (3a) model, though details on its specifications remain limited. Additionally, the company teased the existence of a flagship-level Nothing Phone (3), but its design remains undisclosed for now.
