Ugreen has introduced a new tracker called the Finder Slim, which comes in the form of a slim card that is meant to fit inside your wallet. Measuring at only 1.7mm thick, the tracker is even thinner than some of its competitors such as the Tile Slim’s 2.5mm figure.
Just like its earlier Smart Tag, the Finder Slim is compatible with Apple’s Find My network, making it one of the cheapest trackers out there. However, its tag did not come with support for Precision Finding, and it is unclear if the new tracker does add support for this feature, but just like other Find My-compatible trackers, you can share its location with up to five people. Moreover, it seems to be incompatible with Google’s Find My Device network, so this product is geared exclusively towards iPhone users.
The brand claims that the card-like tracker can last up to 12 months on a single charge and can be recharged using a proprietary magnetic cable. There is also a built-in speaker that can belt out an 80dB alarm to help you find it within a room. Durability-wise, it comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Finder Slim is available now through Ugreen’s Shopee store for RM89, which is significantly costlier than its Smart Tag. Do take note that this ships from China, but it does come with an international warranty.
