GXBank will implement a one-hour cooldown feature for users increasing their daily money transfer limits starting 12 February 2025. This new security measure aims to enhance online banking safety, prevent fraud, and provide users with additional time to detect and report suspicious activities.
According to GXBank’s announcement, the cooldown period will take effect immediately after a user requests an increase in their daily transfer limit. During this period, users can still perform transactions up to their existing transfer limit, ensuring no interruptions to their banking activities.
Once the cooldown period ends, the updated transfer limit will be activated, and users will receive a confirmation email to their registered address. Users will also be notified via email once the period ends.
On a related note, GXBank is expected to roll out several new products in 2025. Recapping its anniversary announcements last year, among those coming include GX Biz Banking, a digital solution for small businesses and an all-new AI chatbot called “AIni”.
