Keychron has announced the launch of its K2 HE Wireless Magnetic Custom Keyboard for the Malaysian market. It is a 75% keyboard that’s touted to be fully customisable, and also utilises advanced magnetic sensors instead of traditional physical contact switches.

The Keychron K2 HE features tactile OSA profile double-shot PBT keycaps, arranged on a robust aluminium frame. The white and black Special Edition of the keyboard comes with natural rosewood siding, available in either light or dark shades.

The company touts the K2 HE’s sensors to measure actuation depth with exceptional accuracy, enabling users to fine-tune the response of each key. Featuring Gateron double-rail magnetic switches, adjustable actuation points and rapid trigger technology, it ensures faster reactions for both gaming and typing.

Magnetic hot-swappable keys allow for effortless switch customisation, while dynamic rapid trigger technology enhances responsiveness. For quieter performance, enhanced stabilisers and EVA acoustic foam minimise vibrations, ensuring a smooth and refined typing experience.

Adding to the keyboard’s appeal is the innovative Analog Mode, which Keychron claims offers game controller-like precision. This feature detects keypress depth and translates it into variable inputs, making it ideal for racing games and sports simulations.

Meanwhile, advanced QMK firmware further empowers users with fully customisable key mapping and macros, enabling adjustments to actuation points, shortcuts and magnetic switch sensitivity. The K2 HE also includes Keychron’s Launcher web configurator, providing an intuitive platform to personalise settings, including RGB backlight presets and programmable multi-action key commands.

The Keychron K2 HE is priced at RM589 for the standard edition and RM629 for the Special Edition. Those interested can purchase it now via the brand’s online stores on its official website, Shopee and Lazada, as well as authorised retailers nationwide.
