Tecno could soon be launching a new tablet in Malaysia called the Megapad 11. It will be the first tablet from the brand to be available here, but despite the name, it is actually an entry-level budget device.
The Megapad 11 received approval from SIRIM just yesterday with the model number T1101. This indicates that the brand plans to release the tablet here in the near future. Unfortunately, the Megapad 10, which was unveiled just last month, has still not been listed on the database, so it is unclear if this model will also be coming along for the ride.
Nothing has been officially revealed by the company yet, but several keys specs and renders have been leaked. If the reports are to be believed, the tablet will sport an 11-inch display with a 1920×1200 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to also come with Tecno AI features as well as Dolby Atmos support.
Internally, the tablet is rumoured to run on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and it will have 4G cellular support, while a FCC certification confirms that it will be powered by an 8,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. Imaging-wise, it will likely carry a 13MP camera on the back while the front will house a 5MP sensor.
