The GT Book, Infinix‘s first gaming laptop, has made an appearance in Malaysia. It was displayed as part of the brand’s product showcase during the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Academy League Season 2 Playoffs that was held at UTM KL earlier today.
Originally unveiled for select markets back in May, the Infinix GT Book is offered in three variants, each equipped with different Intel processors as well as NVIDIA RTX GPUs. The one on display today is the top-end model, which features an Intel Core i9-13900H and an NVIDIA RTX 4060 with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM. It also comes with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and WiFi 6E connectivity.
Other variants of the GT Book are equipped with either an Intel Core i5-12450H and an NVIDIA RTX 3050 GPU, or an Intel Core i7-13620H and an NVIDIA RTX 4050. Both of these come with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and WiFi 6 connectivity.
Commonly featured on all three models is a matte 16-inch IPS LCD screen with 1920 x 1200 px resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB coverage, 120Hz refresh rate, and 300 nits brightness. They also come with an integrated 2MP FHD webcam, 70WH battery with 190W AC charging, dual speakers with DTS enhancement, RGB lighting, RGB backlit keyboard, glass touchpad, and dual fan thermal management.
The Infinix GT Book sports an AD aluminium alloy shell with “Cyber Mecha” aesthetic, which is available in two colourways: Silver and Grey. Measurement-wise, the laptop comes in at 358mm (w) x 258mm (d) x 18.9mm (h), and weighs at 1.99kg. In terms of I/O, featured on the sides of the device is a HDMI 2.1 port, an SD card slot, a USB 3.2 Gen2, a USB 3.2 Gen1, DC in, a full-function USB-C connector, A DC-in, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Kingston lock.
Unfortunately, despite showcasing the GT Book gaming laptop series at the event, Infinix did not provide a clear answer when asked if it plans to launch the series in Malaysia. The company promises to make an announcement if it does.
