The vivo V40 Lite is finally and officially launched in Malaysia. Preorders for the brand’s new entry-level phone will begin from starting 25 October onwards.
As a quick primer, the V40 Lite sports a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a global peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Beneath the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen2 SoC and backed by a 5,000mAh cell that supports 80W charging. There is also an under-display fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, and it ships with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.
Camera-wise, the dual-camera module comprises a 50MP main camera, a 8MP ultrawide lens, while the selfie camera is a 32MP shooter. Just like its V40 counterpart, it also features an LED ring light.
Once again, the vivo V40 Lite will be available in two memory and storage configurations: 12GB+256GGB for RM1,299 and 12GB+512GB for RM1,499. In conjunction with the launch, those who preorder the phone from 25 October onwards will also receive free gifts worth up to RM955. The gifts include four years of vivo Care, a battery warranty, a screen protector, protective casing, a pair of earbuds, and a powerbanks, all while stocks last.
