Casio has recently introduced the G-Shock GBM-2100 series to Malaysia’s watch market. It’s a timepiece that was originally built upon the GM-2100, catering to those who value the classic and timeless G-Shock aesthetic that has carried over the years. The series currently features four distinct models, each with an octagonal shape and constructed from stainless steel for enhanced longevity.
Some other notable features include Tough Solar technology and Bluetooth connectivity as the watch company wants to modernise user experience and the way the watch interacts with its wearer. Also onboard is a Super Illuminator LED lamp for low-light conditions.
Other than those, the GBM-2100 series offers shock resistance, water resistance, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a timer, five daily alarms, and the capability to record date, time, and current position on a map through a dedicated app from Casio. All while holding its durability intact firmly as claimed by the prominent watch company.
As for colour options, Casio is offering the new G-Shock in Classic Black, Sleek Blue, Vibrant Green, and Blackout White. Take note that the latter option is exclusively available via the watchmaker’s website for RM1,365. Meanwhile, the other colour options are now available via authorised G-Shock retailers nationwide at RM1,295 each.
