Sony has officially launched the Xperia 10 VI, almost a month after the launch of the bigger and more premium Xperia 1 VI in July. After quite some time, the smartphone is now available on the Malaysian market, and comparatively, it still has that powerful battery and lightweight attribute that we mentioned in May this year.

To quickly recap, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen1 processor powers the phone and houses a 5,000mAh battery, which Sony specifies that it can last up to two days after one single charge. The device also offers 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with additional support for microSDXC cards up to 1.5TB.

In addition, the Sony Xperia 10 VI features a transparent casing and a tempered glass screen protector for durability. It has a 6.1-inch display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, a Full HD + OLED display screen, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. It also maintains the IPX5 / IPX8 rating for water resistance, as well as an IP6X rating for dust resistance.

The rear camera system includes a 48MP main sensor paired with an 8MP wide-angle lens, while the front-facing camera is an 8MP sensor. The phone retains bezels at the top and bottom of the display, keeping the camera separate from the screen and preserving the front-facing stereo speakers.

You can now purchase the Xperia 10 VI on Sony Malaysia’s online store for RM2,199. It is available in colours Black as well as Light Blue. Those who purchase the phone now will also be given a free pair of Sony’s ULT Wear Headphones worth RM899 with the early bird promotion, while stocks last.
