The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 was only recently officially revealed, and already there’s a special edition of it. This time it’s a Doraemon Special Edition. rather than the now-relatively often Pokemon tie-ins.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition was announced by the company’s Hong Kong arm, with the site noting that there are only 800 sets of these limited edition phones available. In the box, you get the phone in what looks like its standard blue colourway, but also a special edition Flipsuit Case to give it that extra special edition flair.
Also in the box of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition is a phone stand themed around tools used by the earless robotic cat, plus a figure of the character itself. Of course, making it extra special is the software side of things, with its lock screen, opening animation, home screen and app icons all being given a do-over.
As mentioned, there are only 800 of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition, and it only comes in its 12GB + 512GB configuration. It costs HK$10,698 (~RM6,410), so quite a bit more than what it does normally. That being said, there’s currently no word if it will have its own limited run on our shores just yet.
