Unveiled alongside the new TravelMate series of laptops yesterday is Acer’s latest smart monitor, the CS272. It is touted as a new solution that provides simple and easy setup for both business and home use.
The Acer CS272 offers a 27-inch IPS display that comes with FHD (1920 x 1080 px) resolution, along with a ZeroFrame design and a white chassis. It also comes with dual 3W integrated speakers, three HDMI ports, two USB 2.0, an audio out, and a RJ45 ethernet port.
The smart monitor runs on LG’s WebOS platform, offering users with quick access to certain apps, such as web browsers, word processors and so on, without requiring a PC. Additionally, streaming service apps including Netflix and YouTube are built-in as well, and you can connect a keyboard and mouse to it via USB or wireless.
Speaking of connectivity, the Acer CS272 supports WiFi and Bluetooth, and is compatible with Apple Airplay, Miracast, as well as screen mirroring for various types of smart devices and laptops.
