BigPay has recently announced what it calls the “Save To Travel Stash” feature, which the company describes as an “easy” way to plan expenses for a trip. Though in reality, this is simply a new stash being added to its simply and aptly named Stashes feature first introduced in 2022. For what it’s worth, there’s a new limited-time promo tied to this new one, with a promise of cash rebates and lucky draws involving free trips within Asia.

The way this works is mostly similar to the older stashes introduced by BigPay before this, only it is one that is pre-made within the Stashes menu. Like before, you can turn on Round Ups for your transactions using the e-wallet, with the change being dumped into this stash instead. In the same way, you can have funds from your e-wallet be transferred here on a regular basis to grow the stash more consistently.

So, what exactly is new with Save To Travel Stash? From the look of things, nothing much really, minus two limited time promotions related to it, both of which end on 30 September 2024. The first is that the company is offering users with an average balance of RM1,000 or more over 30 days in this specific stash a 1% cash rebate for international spending within Asia, but not in Malaysia, with the BigPay Card.

The second is anyone who adds funds to this specific Save To Travel Stash, or spend using BigPay on AirAsia Move will be eligible for a lucky draw. Winning in the draw means getting a free trip to anywhere in Asia worth RM2,000 every month. You can find out more about the terms and conditions for both promos via the link below.
