Marshall has recently launched two new audio devices for the Malaysian market, namely the Major V mid-range headphones and the entry-level Minor IV earbuds. Being the latest iterations of both line-ups, both devices promise to deliver plenty of improvements over their respective predecessors.

The new Major V features a rugged and foldable design, and is promised to offer the brand’s iconic sound quality with reduced distortion for clearer audio. Onboard are 40mm dynamic drivers with a sensitivity of 106dB SPL and an impedance of 32ohm, delivering a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. The device itself is said to weigh 186 grams.

Features-wise, the headphones comes with a customisable M-control button that provides instant access to functions via the Marshall Bluetooth app; including Spotify Tap, EQ presets, or voice assistance. Additionally, the Major V supports Bluetooth LE Audio-ready, promising higher audio quality, increased streaming range, and improved audio sync for an enhanced listening experience.

According to Marshall, the headphones boast over 100 hours of wireless playtime on a single charge. Charging is done through USB-C and is claimed to take three hours for a full top-up, while wireless charging support is also available for added convenience.

Meanwhile, the Marshall Minor IV earbuds offer a redesigned look from its predecessor, promising superior comfort and improved water resistance. Under the hood are 12mm dynamic drivers with an impedance of 32ohm and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Each earbud is said to weigh 7.39 grams, while the charging case weighs 39.41 grams.
