smart Malaysia has announced a new pricing structure for the smart #1 Pro and Premium EV models, following its global price realignment made by the brand last month. As such, both vehicles are now offered at lower prices than before, with aims to entice potential buyers in the country.
Starting with the Pro, pricing for this smart #1 variant has been knocked down to RM169,000, which is RM20,000 less than its initial launch price. On the other hand, the Premium option is now at RM209,000, which is RM10,000 less. No price reductions for the RM249,000 Brabus variant, however.
Despite reduced costs, specifications for the Pro and Premium models are unchanged. To quickly recap, the duo feature the same single electric motor setup that delivers a maximum output of 272hp and 343Nm, promising a top speed of 180km/h. The Pro is claimed to offer up to 315km of range via its 49kWh battery, while the Premium takes it further at up to 440km via its 66kWh battery.
Meanwhile, smart Malaysia also announced that it is offering a complimentary 4-year service package to existing existing smart #1 Pro and Premium owners. According to the company, this initiative serves as a token of appreciation to its loyal customers.
