RHB Banking Group today has introduced Apple Pay support in Malaysia. In a statement, the bank announced that customers holding RHB Visa Debit and Credit Cards/-i, including the RHB Multi-Currency Visa Debit Card/-i, can now add and use their cards with the feature.

Group managing director and CEO Mohd Rashid Mohamad highlighted that the Apple Pay initiative aims to provide a seamless and secure digital banking experience. He emphasised that this move is part of RHB’s commitment to innovation and addressing the evolving needs of its customers.

Apple Pay can be used on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, facilitating faster and more convenient purchases in apps or on the web via Safari. This eliminates the need for creating accounts or repeatedly entering shipping and billing information, enhancing user convenience. Additionally, RHB says this feature allows transactions in up to 33 currencies without conversion fees.

During this promotion, customers can earn up to RM30 cashback when they use their RHB card with Apple Pay for at least three transactions, each with a minimum purchase of RM50. This offer is available for both in-store and online purchases until 31 July 2024.
