TNG Digital recently updated its TNG eWallet app with an in-app foreign exchange calculator. Specifically, it’s featured within the TNG eWallet Visa card section of the app.

“With more than 50% of Malaysians using TNG eWallet, we are committed to fostering seamless cashless travel experiences, so our valued users are able to spend globally like a local. Through the exchange rate calculator for Touch ‘n Go eWallet, we empower our users to become savvy travellers by equipping them with the tools to manage their travel expenses and make informed decisions effortlessly,” Alan Ni, CEO of TNG Digital, says. “Gone are the days of unexpected financial shocks post-trip; with the exchange rate calculator, travellers can now check the exchange rate before making any overseas purchase, guaranteeing a smoother, more transparent journey every time. It’s a nifty feature to have, eliminating the need to manually and specifically search for rates on Google. Even more so, after the snafu that occurred with our local currency on the search engine.

The provision of an in-app foreign exchange calculator with the TNG eWallet Visa card is another act of TNG Digital to provide transparency to its customers, which also adds to the benefit of 0% foreign exchange conversion fees. Also, every Ringgit spent abroad earns users GOrewards points.
