AirAsia MOVE has announced a collaboration with Prasarana in an effort to improve first- and last-mile connectivity using airasia ride, its e-hailing platform. With the partnership, Prasarana’s PULSE app, which provides commuters with information on train and bus routes, now advertises the e-hailing service to encourage its use.
The PULSE app promotes airasia ride in the form of a link on its home page that redirects users to the AirAsia app. Moreover, commuters can now get a RM2 discount off of their fare when booking a ride to and from one of 24 major LRT stations covering the Kelana Jaya line and the Sri Petaling line. The discount can be used twice a day, meaning that you can get a total of RM4 off daily.
As for how to actually get the discount, each of the 24 applicable stations has its own respective promo code, which you can find on AirAsia’s website. These promo codes are valid from now until 31 January 2025. There is a daily redemption limit for the codes but the company did not disclose the cap.
If you commute by KTM instead of the LRT, airasia ride also has an ongoing promotion for you. By using the code KTMRIDE, you can RM3 off of rides to and from KTM stations, which is valid until 15 August 2024.
