Ghostrunner, the cyberpunk-inspired and FPS-style action title, is currently being offered as free of charge on Epic Games Store. However, if you want to add it to your already burgeoning list of free games from the platform, you’ll need to log in before midnight as the offer will expire then.
The offer by Epic Games is part of the Unreal Engine owner’s offer for a free game daily. Today, it’s Ghostrunner which is a pretty major title to be offered on tap. The next title is still a mystery which, upon the expiration of the offer, will be revealed.
Ghostrunner was released in 2020, and was published by two studios, 505 Games and All in! Games. Players play as Jack, the titular character, and must traverse the game’s environments through a series of dashing, jumping, wall-running, grappling and sliding, while also eliminating enemy mobs and bosses, all to free the Architect, who is later revealed to be the game’s primary antagonist.
Do note that Epic Games is only offering the base game of Ghostrunner and doesn’t seem to include the expansion, Project Hel. Also, if you’re wondering how the game plays and feels like, we’ve included a YouTube playthrough through it, courtesy of the channel Shirrako.
