Yes 5G is currently offering a new home wireless broadband plan with a 12-month contract as part of its Christmas promotion. Essentially, it is the same as the telco’s existing RM99 Gateway plan, but with a shorter contract period and a heftier upfront payment.

Similarly, Yes 5G’s Christmas promo also offers uncapped speeds with an unlimited quota for 5G, as well as uncapped 4G speeds but with up to 150GB data quota. Additionally, included is a seven-day return policy where you can cancel the subscription within the given period in the event that your area lacks or has poor 5G coverage.

However, as noted by the telco’s FAQ, return requests will be rejected if it is detected that you’ve somehow used over 10GB of data within the seven-day window. You can check the availability of the telco’s 5G and 4G LTE coverage in your area by visiting the Coverage Checker page on Yes 5G’s official website.

As mentioned earlier, what sets the newly introduced Christmas promo apart from the existing RM99 wireless broadband plan is the shorter 12-month contract, and an upfront payment of RM299 for the included Infinite Gateway Router. In other words, subscribing to this will result in a total of RM403.95 checkout value for the first month, while the following months will cost you RM99 each.

On the flip side, you’re only required to commit for a total of 12 months instead of the original plan’s longer 24-month contract. Therefore, you could choose to switch to the more affordable RM58 Flexi plan once your contract is up and still utilise the Infinite Gateway Router from your initial subscription.

The new Yes 5G Wireless Broadband Gateway Christmas Promotion is currently ongoing until further notice. As mentioned in its official website, the telco also promised that there will be no installation or waiting period for the plan.
