Tesla Malaysia has announced that it has begun its first deliveries of its Model 3 EV to customers today. In the same press statement, the company also revealed that it has launched its first service centre in the country, along with its new Premium Connectivity data subscription service for Tesla customers.

The new service centre itself is located on the same premise as Tesla Malaysia’s HQ in Cyberjaya, but in a separate building. It is open from 9am to 6pm from Monday to Friday, and is aimed to provide customers with a one-stop service experience, as well as support via over-the-air (OTA) remote diagnosis and a 24/7 hotline. The centre also hosts 10 service bays, four 250kW V3 Superchargers, and three Wall Connector chargers for visitors.

Apart from the aforementioned hotline, Tesla users can set up appointments at the service centre via the brand’s official mobile app. Additionally, the company is also encouraging owners to join the official Tesla Owners Club Malaysia to enjoy privileges from various Tesla partners.

Next, we have the newly launched Premium Connectivity data subscription service, allowing Tesla owners to enjoy seamless data connection for various in-vehicle activities including music and video streaming, live traffic visualisation and more. The subscription costs RM35.99 per month, which also comes with international roaming enabled to ensure continuous connectivity when driving into supported countries, namely Singapore and Thailand.

Users can activate the service via Tesla’s mobile app, and it is also worth mentioning that new Tesla owners can enjoy the Premium Connectivity access at no charge for the first 30 days. On a related note, all vehicles from the brand come with free Standard Connectivity for the first 8 years, which provides users with basic connection for the onboard navigation system.
