Pre-orders for the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 2023 opened up last week, offering up to RM4,000 off its shelf price, and an additional RM300 in e-vouchers. It looks like the company is extending this pre-order discount, but with a less roundabout method this time. Now, you can make use of the discount straight from its official online store.

For those who already placed their pre-order shortly after it was opened, you will still get to enjoy the additional RM300 e-voucher bonus. If you’ve missed out on that, the ship has unfortunately sailed, but at least it’s far less significant than the RM4,000 discount that’s still ongoing.

In case you missed it, the refreshed Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is, as the company claims, the world’s first Dual UHD ultra-wide screen, with a resolution of 7,680 x 2,160. This is spread across 57 inches and as aspect ratio of 32:9.

It’s not just the extra screen real estate either, as it also boasts a 1ms GtG response time and a refresh rate of up to 240Hz, as well as a 1,000 nits peak brightness. The curvature of the screen is rated at 1,000R. Port options on the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 include a DisplayPort 2.1, three HDMI 2.1 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two USB 3.0 ports.

With such a significant discount, it goes without saying that the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 comes with a pretty gargantuan initial price tag. And you’d be right, as it will be priced ordinarily at RM12,999. According to the brand’s official online store, the Odyssey Neo G9 will start shipping on 14 November, which will likely be when they become officially available as well.
