When it comes to digital transactions via mobile, DuitNow is a pretty ubiquitous name these days. And it is becoming just a bit more so, as a local full-stack payment solution, Curlec, has just announced that it will be adopting the DuitNow product suite.
More specifically, Curlec by Razorpay has announced that is is now a member of the national payments network and infrastructure, PayNet. And its membership is what leads to the company adopting DuitNow.
It’s worth noting that Razorpay acquired a majority stake in Curlec back in July. This was also around the same time that the latter launched its own payment gateway. Some brands that work with Curlec include Khind and TTRacing, among a number of other brands in the local market.
All that being said, Curlec itself, as a company, is mostly a B2B business. Which means that the average consumer probably would not come across the name unless you go out of your way to look into what makes your digital transactions tick.
