In addition to the two 40 NXTPAPER phones, TCL also announced a range of smart TVs for the local market. They consist of four series, each with a range of different sizes and features. Just about the only thing they have in common though is that they are 4K TVs running Google TV.

Starting off with the TCL C845, the argument can be made that this has some gaming credentials to it. It makes use of a Quantum Dot Mini LED panel, and features tech like AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. It supports Variable Refresh rate with a maximum of up to 144Hz, but there is the option to engage a 140Hz Game Accelerator mode at the cost of half its vertical resolution. Other items on the spec sheet include a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and support for HDR10+.

Next on the list is the TCL C645, which sports a QLED panel. While this is still a 4K TV with support for a refresh rate of up to 60Hz, you can engage the game accelerator to trade resolution for a bumped up refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It also supports AMD FreeSync, but not Premium Pro. On the flip side, it gains support for Gaming in Dolby Vision instead.

Then there’s the TCL P745 and C755, which the company dubs its XL collection, simply because these are the only two models which come in 98-inch sizes. The latter can be argued to the more premium option of the two, with its Quantum Dot panel, and higher resulting prices. Also supported are HDR10+, up to 144Hz VRR and Dolby Vision IQ. As for the former, its feature set varies by size, with the larger sized versions getting better features like HDR10+, Dolby Vision Gaming and 144Hz VRR, while smaller versions get HDR10, the standard Dolby Vision, and only 60Hz refresh rate.
