Within the same week that the company lists the phones on its global website, Infinix has now launched the Note 30 series in the country. Though only two of the three variants are making their way to our shores, which are the base Infonix Note 30, and the Note 30 Pro.

To quickly go over what each phone comes with again, we start with the base model of the lineup, the Infinix Note 30. This comes with a 6.78-inch Hull HD+ IPS LCD display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Inside, it runs a MediaTek Helio G99, 8GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. The company does say that this also features its All-Round FastCharge tech. It also supports 15W wireless charging, which is not something you usually see in phones of this price range.

For cameras, it comes with a 64MP + 2MP camera setup, alongside an unspecified AI camera, at the back. In front, the 16MP shooter sits in a punch hole cutout.

As for the Infinix Note 30 Pro, the display is now an AMOLED screen with a 360Hz touch sampling rate, at the cost of a slight acreen size cut, now measuring 6.67 inches. The battery has not been given a capacity bump, but the wired charging rate now goes up to a maximum of 68W. Compared to the base model, the primary camera at the back has been bumped up to a 108MP shooter. Ditto the front-facing camera, which is now a 32MP unit.

While the listing on the global website showed a couple of different RAM and storage configurations, only one will be making their way to our shores, for both the base Infinix Note 30 and the Pro model. Both are getting 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space, and they are priced at RM699 and RM899, respectively. They will both be available starting tomorrow, 25 May 2023, on the official Infinix stores on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok, as well as authorised dealers.
