Sony is having its 4.4 sale on Shopee today, with some pretty significant discounts across its range of audio products, making it as good a time as any to pick one up. One of the highlights of the sale is the Sony LinkBuds S, and specifically the Earth Blue colour variant. Normally priced at RM929, you can get this today from RM549.
As mentioned during our review, the Sony LinkBuds S is sort of a “lite” version of the WF-1000XM4. But thanks to a firmware update, it performs much better these days than it did before. All the same, the price made it a tough pick compared to the established premium TWS buds option, though not so much now with this discount. Furthermore, to sweeten the deal, Sony Malaysia is also throwing in a RM50 voucher for the Touch ‘n Go eWallet, putting the actual price of the LinkBuds S at RM499.
Of course, that’s not the only audio product that’s on offer for the 4.4 sale. The aforementioned Sony WF-1000XM4 is also getting a pretty hefty discount of its own, going from RM1099 to RM629, as well as getting its own RM50 TNG eWallet voucher. This also looks to be locked to one available colour variant, which is the standard black.
If over-ear headphones are more your style, then you’ll be glad to know that the WH-1000XM4 and WH-1000XM5 are also currently discounted. The former has a price of RM999 for today, while the latter has a temporary RM1299 price tag. No TNG eWallet vouchers for these though, and these are also locked to the black-coloured variants.
