As well as voice control to really hit another nail into Cortana's coffin.

Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that it was adding AI to its Bing search engine as well as Edge browser. Now, two weeks since the initial release, the company is extending the AI integration to the mobile versions of Bing and Edge.

For the most part, the AI in the mobile versions of Bing and Edge will function in the same way as their desktop counterparts. This extension was made because according to Microsoft, “64% of searches occur on mobile phones”. And with this AI now on mobile, you can get the same convenience that the AI grants you while on the go. Well, that or fun prodding at its programming and getting it to give you weird and amusing or disturbing answers.

In addition to just typing in your prompts, Microsoft is letting this Bing AI work with voice as well. This is being added to both mobile and desktop.

Another app that is getting the new Bing AI added is Skype. To make use of it, all you need to do is add it to any conversation or group. From there, you could give it queries like you would on the desktop or mobile versions of Bing or Edge. Microsoft also says that it supports over 100 languages, and is capable of translating between them as well, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

Though with all that being said, this doesn’t mean that you can give all of this a try right away. As with the desktop versions of the Bing AI, you’ll have to sign up for the preview first which, as Microsoft claims, the company has let over a million people in. No word on the number of people still waiting in line, but you’ll have to be one of them to try any of these out.
