Lenovo today has launched its refreshed convertible laptop, the Lenovo Yoga 9i, for the Malaysian market. It packs a 14-inch display, the latest 13th Gen Intel Core mobile processor, and the world’s first rotating soundbar developed by audio specialists Bowers & Wilkins.
Being a convertible, the 2023 Lenovo Yoga 9i offers a versatile 2-in-1 functionality to users, allowing them to utilise it as a regular laptop or a tablet. For this, the device comes with 14-inch interactive touchscreen, and a 360-degree hinge with the aforementioned Bowers & Wilkins soundbar built-in.
More specifically, the display features an OLED panel with slim bezels, 2.8K resolution, up to 90 Hz refresh rate, and is VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certified for 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy. Meanwhile, its sound system consists of a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos optimisation, as well as two microphone arrays for calls or video conferencing. Despite the convertible laptop’s sleek design, its aluminium case actually comes with MIL-STD-810 certification in terms of durability.
Under the hood, the Windows 11-powered and Intel Evo certified Lenovo Yoga 9i features up to an 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1360P processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics acceleration. Alongside it is 16 GB of soldered LPDDR5-5200 RAM, and 1 TB of internal storage via SSD M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0×4 NVMe, with an additional slot that supports up to another 1 TB M.2 SSD.
It also features a FHD webcam with privacy shutter, and a fingerprint scanner. Connectivity-wise onboard is a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.4, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 support. Lastly, the convertible laptop comes with an integrated 75 Wh battery with 100 W fast charging support via USB-C.
The all-new Lenovo Yoga 9i is available now at a starting price of RM 7,299, and is offered in Oatmeal and Storm Grey colours. To commemorate its launch, customers who purchase the convertible laptop via any Lenovo Exclusive Stores from 11 to 26 February 2023 are eligible to walk home with free gifts including a Lenovo 27-inch Gaming Monitor QHD, Yoga Mouse with Laser Pointer, gift vouchers worth RM 330, and more.
