ASUS’ latest gaming comes in two colour options – black and white. But if you think that the former option is a little too bland, here’s an option that will spice things up a little. This is because the ASUS ROG Phone 6 is getting a Batman Edition.
As posted by serial leakster Evan Blass on 91mobiles, this model comes with a few aesthetic design differences when compared to the base model. Naturally, the Batman Edition comes only in black, and the back of the phone looks just a tad different compared to the base model with the same colour. On the software side of things, the Aura RGB lighting at the back gets some Dark Knight-specific pattern options, and you get a caped crusader wallpaper.
But beyond that, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition is largely the same phone. And it’s specifically the base model too, from the look of things. So if you wanted the Pro model with the ROG Vision Mini display instead, that one is still locked in white. And that’s also to say nothing about the Ultimate model, which will be launching on 19 September with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1.
Considering these images come from Blass who mainly deals in leaks, it should probably be no surprise that the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition has no official release date as of yet. Ditto in which markets it will be available in, as well as its prices in said markets. Adding the fact that the company has no plans to bring its Zenfone 9 to our shores, it’s just as likely that this special edition ROG Phone 6 will not be available here either. Either way, we can only wait for an official announcement to find out what the company has planned for this model.
