For years, Apple has been offering free products to college students in selected markets including the United States and Europe as part of its Back To School promotion. Now, the same promotion is finally available in Malaysia.
Under the Higher Education Offer 2022, students of tertiary education institutions will receive a free 2nd generation AirPods when they purchase iMac, Mac mini, Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air through Apple Store for Education on Apple Malaysia’s website. The same offer also applies to the iPad Pro and iPad Air.
Students can also opt for the newer 3rd generation AirPods or the higher-end AirPods Pro although they do need to pay the price differences. For example, if they prefer the 3rd generation model, then they have to pay RM240 during checkout.
On top of that, Apple’s Higher Education Offer 2022 also provides a 20% discount on AppleCare Protection Plan for these devices. Not to forget, the students will also receive education-specific discounts on their Apple products which is usually around 10% less than the standard retail price.
As you may expect, students have to verify their eligibility in order to enjoy the offer which they can do so via a platform called UNiDAYS. Parents that are purchasing the product on behalf of their child as well as lecturers and staff members of any education institution in Malaysia can take advantage of the offer too.
