For the past week, many companies have reacted to the massive flood that has hit several parts of the country by launching programs that are specialized for flood-damaged products. Among them is the local car-sharing outfit, GoCar who has recently announced the GoCar Garage Flood Assist Program.
While most users may know GoCar for its car-sharing service including the recently launched GoEV, the company also run a service centre called GoCar Garage. Located at its hub in Seksyen 13, Petaling Jaya, the centre caters to most make and models although it does not handle commercial vehicles with the exception of pick-up trucks.
Under the GoCar Garage Flood Assist Program, vehicle owners can obtain a 25% discount on the cost of labour and spare parts. In addition to that, they will be also provided with a GoCar vehicle that they can utilize for up to 14 days without any charges while waiting for their vehicle to be repaired.
If they need a car for a much longer period, owners can opt for the 50% discount offer for subscription on selected GoCar Subs vehicles. As mentioned earlier, many companies have launched flood relief programs to provide some assistance to their customers including Samsung, Acer, TM, ASUS, OPPO, and TNB. Local NFT enthusiasts have also raised some funds in response to the flood.
