More than a year after IKEA and ASUS Republic of Gamers announced their partnership, gamers in Malaysia will finally be able to get their hands on the fruits of their collaborative products. The Swedish furniture powerhouse today has confirmed that the IKEA Gaming line-up will be coming to our market next month.
However, IKEA Malaysia has yet to reveal the exact product that will be made available in our market. According to a previous joint media release by IKEA and ROG that was released last month, there are more than 30 products under the IKEA Gaming range including gaming desks, gaming chairs, drawer units, mug holders, mouse bungee, neck pillows, ring light, and many others.
Do note that only UPPSPEL products are directly co-developed by both companies. Other products within the line-up are purely IKEA’s creation but the company claimed that they are still based on the insights and knowledge that it has gained through the partnership.
We are now reaching out to IKEA Malaysia in order to see if the company could provide us with more information about its new gaming line-up. Then again, you should be able to hear more about IKEA Gaming products anyway as 11 November is just a few weeks away.
