Puma Malaysia has confirmed that its new collection from the recently announced Animal Crossing: New Horizons collaboration will be making their way to Malaysia soon. These consist of the brand’s Suede, Wild Rider and Future Rider footwear, as well as a variety of apparels.
The Animal Crossing edition of the Puma Suede features a beige overall look, along with a triple formstrip with printed graphics on the top layer, a tongue label with debossed co-branding, and translucent soles with graphic imprint. Included together with the shoes is a leaf hangtag and canvas lace bag with additional laces.
Next up is the Puma x Animal Crossing Wild Rider shoes, which was first previewed along with the teaser last week. To recap, the footwear features a beige nylon upper adorned with the prints featuring character icons from the game, paired together with pastel green, blue and sand coloured overlays. It also comes with a translucent formstrip on the side, an embroidered leaf on the heel, and a debossed lace tag with Puma’s logo.
The third featured pair of shoes is the collection’s version of the Puma Future Rider, which comes with nylon, canvas, and suede overlays that are decked out in a similar colour scheme as the Wild Rider. Also onboard is a debossed Animal Crossing leaf graphic on the heel, and pastel blue TPU pieces on each side. Included together with the footwear is a canvas lace bag, along with additional alternative laces.
The apparel collection from the Puma x Animal Crossing collaboration consists of both short and long sleeved t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and sweatpants. All of which feature the game’s signature colour palette, along with graphic elements of various characters and icons. Sadly, you’ll be disappointed to know that the collection does not include a Tom Nook-inspired aloha shirt, but there’s a pair of Animal Crossing themed sandals at least.
The new Puma x Animal Crossing: New Horizons Collection will be arriving in Malaysia starting 18 September 2021, retailing from RM179 to RM579. They will be available for sale at the official Puma stores in Mid Valley, Tropicana Garden and Paradigm JB, as well as ATMOS KL in Mid Valley and SoleWhat in The Gardens mall.
