Many know the Acer Nitro through the popular Nitro 5 gaming laptop, although the Nitro family does have plenty of other products under its umbrella including gaming monitors. In fact, there is a new Nitro gaming monitor coming to Malaysia next month.
Officially called the Nitro XV252QF, this particular member of the Nitro XV2 series is said to be able to deliver a refresh rate of up to 390Hz through its overlock mode. Alongside a response time that is as low as 0.5ms, the monitor’s refresh rate is 360Hz although you need to use DisplayPort to reach that level while its HDMI 2.0 port is limited to 240Hz.
The HDR400-certified 24.5-inch gaming monitor comes with an IPS panel that has sRGB coverage of 99%. As per many of the high refresh rate monitors out there, the Nitro XV252Q F should play nicely with either AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies.
Pricewise, the new Nitro XV252QF will be available in Malaysia starting from 3 August for RM1,999. Those who choose to purchase it at the upcoming Acer Day x Shopee Super Brand Day on 3 and 4 August will be provided with an extra reward in the form of a Predator Cestus 330 gaming mouse.
However, Acer Malaysia has also said during its press conference earlier today that initial stocks might be limited. So, don’t wait too long to decide.
