XCOM 2 was first released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One back in 2016. Late last year, the game got ported to mobile devices, but only those running iOS. But Feral Interactive, the company behind the iOS port, has since announced a release date for the game on Android. And it is coming next month.
Like the iOS release, the XCOM 2 Collection will come with all four DLC packs when it becomes available on Android. Feral Interactive has also provided a new trailer for the occasion.
The trailer doesn’t show much in terms of gameplay. But overall, XCOM 2 didnt change much between its initial release and its iOS port. Chances are things will remain the same when the Android version comes along.
For now, The XCOM 2 Collection is due to be released on Android on 13 July. You can pre-register for it on the Google Play Store, linked below. It’s not known as of yet what its price will be like.
That being said, Android Police reports that in the US, it will come with a US$24.99 price tag. This is the same price as when it was released for iOS back in November last year. And with its current local price being RM104.90 on the Apple App Store, chances are that’s what the price on Android will be like as well.
