With the aim to bring awesome to everyone, Samsung has packed plenty of premium features into the all-new Galaxy A Series (2021) smartphones even though their price point is relatively wallet-friendly. One such example is the IP67 rating on selected models such as the Galaxy A72.
For those who are not familiar with IP rating, it actually stands for Ingress Protection which provides a general outlook on how an IP-rated device is protected against water and dust. Since the Galaxy A72 has an IP67 rating, it means that the phone is able to withstand dust as well as a water depth of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
However, we pushed things a little further in our Galaxy A72’s water test. You would likely be pleased to see what is going to happen but nevertheless, please don’t do this with your own phone at home.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A72 is currently retailing at RM 1,899 and available in several colourways such as the Awesome Blue that you could see in the LYTV’s episode above. Other options include Awesome Black, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White.
